On a deeper level, Boughton and his Glastonbury Festival Players were for him the true template. the company ran from 1970 to 1986 after which Tim embarked on s second career as a freelance lecturer in the fields of music and medieval history and now speaks to members of music clubs, history societies, adult education and students as well as at Oxford's Ashmolean Museum.
